Principal's message

Welcome to Lane Cove West Public School.

At Lane Cove West Public School, we believe that when a child feels safe, seen, and inspired, there's no limit to what they can achieve. With 440 students at the heart of everything we do, our school is more than a place of learning - it's a community where families belong.

Our beautiful bush setting on Sydney's North Shore sets the tone for the curiosity and wonder we nurture every day. From our brand new STEM classrooms to our vegetable gardens, fish pond, resident chickens, support dogs, and play equipment, learning here goes far beyond the classroom. And with an exciting range of extracurricular opportunities, there's something for every child to love and look forward to.

Our dedicated staff work hand in hand with our wonderful parent community to ensure every child is challenged, supported, and celebrated - academically, creatively, and personally. We are proud to be a place where the values of responsibility, respect, and endeavour are lived, not just spoken.

I warmly invite you to visit and experience our welcoming community for yourself.

I look forward to meeting you personally and sharing how we can support your child's educational success and personal wellbeing.
