Currawong - Being a leader means that you can follow the school values, control a group and help others. It means being a respectful and responsible captain, a supportive and encouraging friend and a fun and enthusiastic teammate - Oscar & Sabine

Lorikeet - A leader supports and encourages their peers and helps lift everyone's spirits, especially before carnivals.  A leader is someone who helps everyone, not just themselves -  Luka & James 

Rosella - Being a leader means showing pride and good sportsmanship and following the school values. It also means that you are responsible and encouraging towards your teammates. You also understand that it doesn't matter if you win or lose as long as you have fun - Jonas & Savannah

Kingfisher - Being a leader means supporting anyone and everyone in everything, no matter what. It also means encouraging people to do their absoloute best. Another good quality is to be responsible - Poppy & Jacob

Being a school Captain is like being a captain of a Sport Team, challenging but rewarding. It has been awesome so far, it comes with a lot of responsibilities but I know it's going to be fun. I feel privileged and really excited and am looking forward to leading Lane Cove West - Akshay
